Hello everybody,

I would like to take a few minutes of your time to introduce you to the Men's Club of Shaare Tikvah if you don't know about us or haven't heard about us yet.

The Men's Club of Shaare Tikvah is a group of men of the synagogue who meet regularly to help support the synagogue. As a group we raise money for our annual contribution during the High Holy Days and other charitable programs. We meet regularly for breakfast to share in camaraderie and fellowship. Socially we have events like Baffle Bowl, Mother's Day program and co-hosting Hanukkah and spaghetti dinners and others throughout the year. On other occasions we get together to help the synagogue by trimming trees and bushes before the High Holy Days and providing assistance to the House chairman as he prepares the synagogue for sale and moving to the new building.

Individually, the men of the Club are also officers in the synagogue or have held offices and are still active in the operation of the synagogue.  Many lead services and read Torah and Haftorah regularly.

Being part of the Men's Club or one of the other groups that supports Shaare Tikvah has to be one of the best mitzvahs you can do for the synagogue.
